1. Introduction

1. The use of this web site and the placing of orders for the supply of goods are subject to the following terms and conditions.

2. If you do not accept these terms and conditions, then please do not use this web site.

3. The terms and conditions may be revised at any time, and you should review these conditions from time to time.

2. Ordering

1. Items are ordered through our on-line checkout process. At the checkout process you can review your order and make any amendments necessary.

2. If you provide a valid e-mail address, order acknowledgments will be sent to you via e-mail which will detail the items ordered.

3. An order becomes binding when we despatch your goods to you.

4. Prior to despatch of your goods, we may notify you that the order cannot be accepted or you may cancel the order.

5. Orders may be cancelled or refused (a) where goods are out of stock (b) where authorisation of payment cannot be obtained (c) if you do not meet the criteria defined in these terms and conditions

6. At present, we do not accept orders from outside the United Kingdom.

3. Pricing

1. Prices shown are in GB Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated.

2. Prices payable will be that displayed at the time of placing the order, regardless of subsequent changes.

3. Prices displayed exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated.

4. Additional carriage charges may apply to certain regions for certain bulky goods. See our section on carriage charges.

5. Prices displayed are inclusive of VAT.

4. Payment

1. Payment in full is due prior to the despatch of any order.

2. Payments can be made by credit or debit card, cheque, postal order or Paypal.

3. Payments made by credit or debit card are processed through HSBC ePayments.. Payment is not complete until fully authorised by HSBC..

4. Payments made by Paypal are made through the Paypal Express Checkout. Payment is not fully complete until fully authorised by Paypal.

5. Payment by cheque or postal order is not complete until fully cleared in our bank.

6. Payments made for goods not received due to goods not available or orders not accepted will be credited to either your credit card, paypal account or by cheque or postal order.

5. Delivery

1. Although every effort is made to ensure that all products available for purchase on this web site are in stock, we cannot guarantee immediate availability.

2. We endeavour to despatch your order within 24 to 48 hours. If we are unable to despatch your order within 7 days we will contact you with and estimated delivery date and the option to cancel your order.

3. We will not be held liable for any loss or expense incurred due to our failure to meet an estimated delivery date.

6. Cancellation, Shortages and Returns Policy

1. Orders may be cancelled prior to despatch of goods by e-mail to sales@theindianbazaar.co.uk or by telephone. A full refund of payment will be made if already processed.

2. If you are not satisfied with the goods you may cancel the contract and return the goods with a full refund of payment, excluding all carriage costs. Goods must be returned in a re-saleable condition with all packaging intact.

3. Goods may be exchanged with additional carriage charges.

4. Shortages will be replaced at the discretion of the seller, otherwise the appropriate refund of payment will be made.

5. We will incur all return carriage charges if  the goods are faulty, received in an unsatisfactory condition, despatched in error, or mis-represented on our web site.

6. You must notify us of your intention to return the goods by e-mail with 7 days of receipt of goods, and goods must reach us within 14 days of receipt of goods.

7. Once returns have been received and processed by us, we will notify you by e-mail or telephone of your refund or exchange.

7. Third Party Websites

1. Links to third party websites are provided for your convenience. We do not fully review all third party websites, and therefore do not endorse or make any representation about them. If you access any third party website from this site, you do so at your own risk.

8. Availability of Website

1. We endeavour to ensure that this website is available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.

2. However, we cannot be held liable if this website becomes unavailable for any period of time for any reason, due to maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

10. Legal Liability

1. The contract for the sale of goods between the seller and the buyer are subject to and governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute arising in connection with these terms and conditions are subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

2. We do not guarantee that any product for sale on this website is appropriate for sale or use outside the United Kingdom. If you do purchase or use any products from this website from outside the United Kingdom, you are liable to comply with local laws.
